Some colour

We went to Lakeland for breakfast (I can really recommend their cheese and chive soufflé') and shopping. We spent a lot of money, but it was all planned. We had finally decided that our pans needed replacing after many, many years of daily use. The best quality pans were at a very reasonable discounted price so that's what we went for. At the till several coupons I had found were accepted, so that was good too. 

We came away without buying a single bit of the Christmas junk stuff, with which many people seem to be filling their baskets.  

We returned via the Lakes and I was hoping for some photos but, although there were sunny intervals, it was cloudy and dull. And of course much of the tree colour has now disappeared. Never mind, it was a good day and we look forward to using our new pans.
