We had the sad news this afternoon that Mikes Dad has passed away.
Colin phoned to say the hospital had told him to come straight away as they did not expect him to last much longer.
Mike’s Mum was by his side holding his hand as he slipped away peacefully.
He’s been part of my life for nearly 40 years so it feels very sad knowing we won’t see him again.
Mike spoke to his Mum in the evening. She’s ok , Dave is there staying for a few days and there’s plenty of family close by to look after her.
