Burgher of Calais

Detail from the Rodin sculpture "Monument to the Burghers of Calais" which is currently on display at the Moore Rodin Exhibition at the Henry Moore Foundation at Perry Green, Herts. Great day out with plenty to see and plenty of argument over who was better, Rodin or Henry Moore, although I think we agreed they are simply different but both great sculptors. As it's nearly all outdoors, thankfully the weather was kind to us until we adjourned to the pub for lunch, when the heavens opened for the rest of the day.
