Difficult butterfly day
I visited the disused rail line today during a period of high winds, heavy rain showers and very brief sunny periods. I found quite a few butterflies roosting and very occasionally having a mad fly around during a sunny spell. With the wind they were difficult to capture so I felt really pleased when this Dingy Skipper on a waving grass stem came out quite sharp. I was even more pleased when I got home to find that I'd also caught a lovely little fly as well. We are really talking small and minute with these two. I hope they get a better day tomorrow.
