LAST LAYER

The asphalt pavers came through today to put the 2nd layer of "coal drippings" on Barrett St. in front of my abode.  Shot through the living room window.

So glad to see the paving almost finished.  I am just totally tired of tracking Sheboygan County mud into my garage and then into the house.  This layer of asphalt (I think you UKers call it Bitumin) will keep the mud off the tires tyres and out of the garage.

Now all I have to do is wait for the contracted experts to fix the lawn they tore all up to install a sewer connection to the new central system.  I highly doubt they will "restore" it to anything like it was before...despite the guarantee.  I'll believe it when I see it.
