Peeping over the hedge

Rather liked this tree in the fields on the edge of Pickering.

Was surprised to see a young man on his way home from school eating a cornet. As I got further down the street there were more children eating ice cream. Then I discovered a cafe giving out free ice creams. Presumably they needed to clean the machine. No one was turning them down. I half wondered if pensioners qualified but decided on a hot drink instead.
