Crinodendrum

I planted this as a tiny shrub a few years ago and it took a long time to feel at home. However, over the past couple of years it has put on quite a lot of growth and is now about four feet high. Earlier this year, for the first time, a couple of blooms appeared during the expected flowering season between May and August. Then today I spotted this bloom. I think the nine or so other “dangly bits” are embryonic buds but who knows when they might bloom?
