The Long and Winding Road

This morning we walked into Ambleside and had a wander round.
We came back to the room for a wee rest and then went for a drive over Wrystone Pass and Langdale Pass. Frank used to go round there on his motorbike so it brought back happy memories for him.
I’ve been feeling quite rough with this awful cough and didn’t really feel like going anywhere but it was nice to see all the beautiful Autumn trees. The colours are so rich and vibrant. It’s been a few years since we were here and I’d forgotten just how stunning the landscape is.
An early night calls.
