Abandoned

Another glorious day's weather, much appreciated after the recent storms and rain.  We walked along the Shropshire Union Canal, built using the cut and fill method to minimise the need for locks.  This abandoned boat was in a cutting near the village of Brewood.  I know how local authorities deal with abandoned cars, but it did make me wonder how this boat would be sorted out.

We had a late lunch at a local pub before picking up L's car after its MOT and service.  It is now 6 and a half years old and has just over 22,500 miles on the odometer.  The change in employment practices and working from home has certainly kept the mileage down.
