Waders

Today we’ve been to RSPB Titchwell. It was a bit blustery but apart from one short, sharp shower, the weather stayed fine. A good assortment of birds included quite a few ducks and a good number of waders. This image is a Bar-tailed Godwit, a member of its  species being remarkable for holding the record for a non-stop migration of 8,100 miles in 11 days. Two more waders in extras: an Oystercatcher and a Greenshank
