In the garden…….

…….still plenty of colour.
Stripped the bed this morning, as it is sunny and breezy again today.
Out on the line first thing.
A trip up to our local shops, then a quick visit to the Garden Centre for some bird food and a New Baby girl card. Here is a link to the new parents whom we met at our church earlier this year. We took them out to see Baddesley Clinton National Trust.
So pleased for them both! https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3076242962473027722
Hope to visit them soon.
The washing was dry by the time a I got home.
I made my lunch as Stephen had gone out mid morning to Lichfield to meet up with some colleagues for lunch. They all work as Bereavement counsellors at St Giles Hospice.
It’s now 14:25 and already the bright golden sunlight through the leaves is beginning to fade a little.
When I went out earlier to bring in the washing, I watched a “clattering” of Jackdaws high up in the icy clear blue sky, wheeling round and round in a circle going in and out, as they looked as if they were rising on a thermal.
I’ve seen “murmurations” of Starlings which are spectacular as they wheel and turn, making fantastic patterns in the air.
Here’s a YouTube clip to one of them.

After I’d watched the Jackdaws two Buzzards appeared high up lazily drifting round and round and calling their distinctive sound.
The sky is high today, with some white clouds quickly passing over.
The bird feeders are now replenished.
Niece to see the sun again today.
