The Loch, the Palace and St Michael’s.

We walked around the Loch today. A favourite walk. The landmarks of Linlithgow Palace and St Michael’s Parish Church stood out, as aye. Our grandson is being baptised in St Michael’s in December. The church is over 500 years old; and has featured throughout Scottish history. Mary Queen of Scots was baptised here. It’s iconic spire (within the scaffold), known as the Crown of Thorns, is being refurbished; various remedial works are planned over next few years.
