High Key High Street

Thanks to Carolina for the prompt for this week's Mono Monday challenge, just the nudge I needed, even if it was after dark before I got my camera out!

It's been a typical Monday - spending the day chez Family B, helping our daughter catch up with household chores and so forth. In the afternoon I accompanied her to Bourne for a little shopping, though the main aim was to try and get the young master to have a nap in the car. Neither going nor returning did he snooze for a second. So by the time his sister came home from school he was beginning to grow fractious with tiredness. That said, her arrival always gives him a boost. And even when he's worn out, his sunny nature overrides his fatigue. He's the least whiny baby you can imagine!

However, the busy day carried on with the normal pattern of events: come home, eat, sit down, fall asleep, wake in time to go to bed! But it's so worth it. (I also planted some sweet pea seeds with little Miss B that are now sitting on their kitchen window sill for LMB to water as and when required.)
