Back Lane Reflection
Another of my favourite Porty puddles. Always reminds me of the Sycamore Gap tree, which is now much more poignant. Good game of football later. Eight-a-side with a few fresh faces. Perhaps their extra running kept the game tight. It seemed ages before the first goal and I was pleased to score it, reacting quickest in the box to poke it past the keeper. Brothers J and T then combined well to double our lead. They pulled one back but G restored our two-goal cushion. Which was just as well as they scored a second and we were rather hanging on at the end. Hang on we did, to win 3-2. One of the lowest scoring games for quite a while.
