Curly curlew.

A busy day, so this is the only thing I've been able to point the camera at.
Hearing curlews during the day is said to precede the arrival of bad weather. They're going to be busy for the next few months then. 
Their bill's end is controlled by separate muscles (not mussels) to act like a finger. (Sorry this is river not street.)
