Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Quite an eventful day, all in all. I decided to pop to see the doctor - and this is mainly for my own records - my legs have been much more troublesome of late, there's a definite worsening of the knees/legs/back situation. I got some new pills to try, and she wants me to have another MRI. The waiting room was empty this morning. What has happened to all the people who used to go there?

Elizabeth took Archie out today, and so we had booked an afternoon tea at the Secret Garden. Actually, it was a present from Elizabeth, and it has been postponed a few times, but today was the day. And it was such a nice day for a drive out of the city - the billowing clouds were super, but there was no suitable vantage point to take a photo. Looking the other way, north, the sky was black and foreboding over the castle - also a good photo opportunity.

But before we left, I got the delivery that I've been looking forward to - a handle grip for iphones, making taking photos a more natural and intuitive 'camera' position. I'm well pleased with it, as it can be used as a stand, and can be detached when not in use.

We made a good dent in the treats, but had to get a doggie box and take some of the goodies home with us. It must be really nice there on a summer's day, and our waitress was a wee Kiwi lass from Invercargill, so she'll be quite used to cold weather...
