Sunshine, showers and rainbows

This blip sums up the day. It was pretty wet but the sun kept peeping through. Don’t think there will be any grass cutting today!

On our way to singing in Bingley this morning, Chris spotted the rainbow and, as we were stopped on Ireland Bridge over the R Aire waiting for the traffic lights, I took a couple of shots from the car window and this was the one I liked best. The water is still high on the weir and you can just see, to the left, the tree that has been stuck there since Storm Babet. I don’t know how they will move it.

A good sing but I had very little voice and a headache by the end of it. We popped into Bingley for a few items and had a coffee whilst there. When we returned to the car there was another rainbow over the valley bottom and the old industrial part of town. (We had one back home too but it’s not long since I blipped a similar one.)

More singing at church choir practice tonight not sure there will be much voice left!
