Film night: The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry

I was supposed to go last Tuesday with my colleague friends. I stayed after work, put my meal in the microwave and then got the apps that they weren't going to make it. I decided to go home as well since I was headachy, but also feeling annoyed.

It's a film I really wanted to see so I decided to go on my own on Sunday evening, an evening that suits me better. I read the book ages ago and loved it. I thought the book was more feelgood than the film. Well, at least according to my memory of it.
I really liked the film, but it was more melancholy than I thought it would be beforehand.

I saw the author Rachel Joyce wrote the filmscript as well. And she was part of the production team. I do hope this hasn't kept her from writing her next book... I really like her books.
