Last light...
...at the end of a full day.
It began with laundry and a little stitching then I spent 3 hours on the end of the hose, washing down the front steps and all the hard surfaces at the top of the drive " You'll have us short of water in the promised hot dry summer ", complained Dr D. I persisted as there are a few mm promised tomorrow. We're on tank water and have 2 large tanks which catch the water from the house roof.
While I finished hosing off the drive Dr D mowed the large berm in front of the house and then spread 140 kg of fertiliser over the lawn using a small spreader that attaches to the back of the ride-on mower.
Lunch was at 3 o'clock for me and then I confess I had 40 winks!
