The Salt Path

I have been reading this tale by Raynor Winn. Made homeless by a financial failing, she and her husband who is terminally ill decide to walk the South West Coast Path. 630 miles with barely any money and some inadequate camping gear.
Some days they exist on a fudge bar and 20pence worth of noodles. They come to find some sense of purpose as they struggle along. Her husband get stronger with the continuing effort and gives up his brain fogging medication.
I am nearing the end of the book now, I suspect it will not end happily ever after, but hopefully will resolve satisfactorily.
