Waxwings!

At last, we found these lovely winter visitors in Dunblane, near the local supermarket. A group of somewhere between 40 and 50 birds were feasting on berries, flying down, grabbing a few berries then flying back up to the top of a much higher tree.
A quite cool day and misty to start with but the mist burned off and the sun came through making it almost warm for a while. We can’t expect miracles at this time of year.
