Poor Leela

I took this photo this morning from the car park of the small animal hospital at the nearby University of Glasgow Vet School. Leela has been very out of sorts for the past couple of days and this morning had taken a turn for the worse. We were very worried so decide to take her up to the out of hours practice at the Vet School. It took many hours to get some blood tests done as she is a rather feisty cat despite being very unwell and needed two lots of sedation. Eventually at 5pm we heard that they had not discovered anything untoward from the blood tests but she has a fever which is likely to be due to an infection and is very dehydrated. She is staying in over night on an IV with fluids and antibiotics and hopefully she will be able to come home tomorrow. A draining day.
