Provost Skene’s House

Mr H and I are having a wee weekend away. We haven’t gone far, just up the road to Aberdeen. Mr H got a deal on a hotel out to the west. It’s a nice enough place, but last nights food wasn’t great.
Today we took the bus into Aberdeen to have a look around. We went to the Aberdeen Art Gallery, which was a bit busier than expected due to a craft market being held there. We then moved on to Provost Skene’s house which tells the story of the great and the good who hailed from Aberdeen and the Shire. There are some very interesting stories.
Our day was rounded off by dinner in Poldinos Italian restaurant where we had a fantastic meal with great service. We will definitely be back!
