The Jazz players...

As you can see, Georgia has not yet introduced a ban on smoking in public places...

This was taken in a lovely litle restaurant in Tblisi. The jazz group was great, and my friend, who never travels without his saxaphone, joined in. He spoke no Georgian, they spoke no English, but they produced some great music together, much to the delight of the locals. The waitress recorded the event on her mobile phone, and even the cook popped her head round the kitchen door to see what was going on.

Music, food and wine are all very important in Georgia...

Spending on feasting and wine is better than hoarding our substance; that which we give makes us richer, that which is hoarded is lost.
