The creature from the blancmange sand

The sun appeared again at 11ish so I darted out for a walk but came across the blancmange sand wobbling like an ET from another planet....and not great to get on your trainers or jeans (salty/sandy foam). Picked up a roast chicken from the next village but as forecast the hail came on as I walked back (through the blancmange) and I wasn't close enough to Ela's for sanctuary. Apparently the weather is going to improve!
