We were meant to meet a friend for coffee this morning, but she had to cancel at the last minute, so we had coffee at home before a brief trip to the Farmers’ Market.  We went in the car as it was raining.  As we drove out of the carpark the car in the blip was parked across the road, so I pulled up and took a quick photo.

We hadn’t long been home when the rain stopped, so we went out for a walk in the gardens and had a lovely time admiring all the beautiful flowers.  There is a whole bed of peonies that are ready to burst into bloom, so we’ll be going back to have another look during the week.

The rain started again just after we arrived home, so we timed that well.  We had a reasonably leisurely afternoon and evening.
