Not a good day

This morning started with a phone call from the doctor asking Billy to come into the surgery for more blood tests at midday. I had to take Arwen to the fracture clinic at 10am which confirmed she had a greenstick fracture and that the cast would be left on for 4 weeks. We were seen relatively quickly so I dropped her at school and took Billy to his doctor's appointment.

Well, the doctor saw him and after taken his temperature which had gone back up to around 102F, she decided to send him straight to the hospital. So that is where we went, straight to the AMU ward where alot of bloods were taken and he also had a chest x-ray. The doctor then came to see us and told us, he had a really bad chest infection.

I have to say that today was the illest I have ever seen Billy....ever.

His temperature was high, he was out of it and seeing the look on the doctor's face and then on the nurses on the AMU ward, told me that he was very seriously ill and that it could get worse :( Incredibly scarey :(
