Day1: Departures

In location at Povey Cross, we had a relaxing morning , lie in,walk back to the pub for a big brunch breakfast and then checked out of the hotel and got bus over to South Terminal to check in.
Had a lovely preflight drink and snacks at the English Sparkling Wine bar. I was sitting next to an interesting older lady in the flight who made the time pass fast and despite an hour delay we got to our destination eventually where copious amounts of complementary Prosecco awaited…just as well as our room service order didn’t come until midnight…about 2 hours after we ordered it!
