Oh well

I went on a hike with a new group of people this morning and I’m really glad because ….. I did not do a photo shoot this afternoon. I did not do a faux fashion shoot, but I was not exposed to Covid. We’ll pick another time. Her not-yet-anyway-infected mom called and let me know that her other mom is sick. She and Karen didn’t even want me taking pictures outside. At 4:30 pm I noticed the sky was grey and told her that God wanted it postponed. 

I was part of a zoom conversation with some relatives and a historian hired by the Dept of Defense to connect soldier’s bodies to their identities. I already read the file so I knew what he told us. I was able to share information with my cousin. I thanked the historian for the service he gives families. Last year they connected the remains of 158 people with their identities, all of whom were considered permanently lost. 

I made a video of my grandmother and it had a lot of information about her and him and other people in the family and family appreciate the video. It is good to get your history and your family history down while you can and I encourage you to do it. It will matter to people who loved you.

I had a conversation with my mother-in-law. The war in Israel-Hamas and the insane anti-semitism are hurting her. They are hurting a lot of people. 

Another subject has agreed to let me take her picture. I’m going to take her picture in her Kung fu outfit, practicing, and I’m freaking thrilled. It will be awesome. 

Ukraine said it successfully attacked a shipyard in Kerch, Crimea. Russia confirmed they were hit with 15 cruise missile.
