Early sunset in the Yorkshire Dales NP

We drove beyond Malham on a very remote narrow single-lane road as far as we could. We loved the remoteness, just as we love driving through the Australian Outback. When we finally reached a dead-end we did a 'thousand-point' turn to head for home. We have to remind ourselves about how early it gets dark. The scenery in the late afternoon sun was magnificent.
