Home, sweet home!

Well, it's someone's, which is sad in any circumstaces.
This one is in the doorway of an ex BHS storefront on Princes Street, Edinburgh's supposed prime shopping street.   Unfortunately it's destruction started in the 60s with the building of concrete fronted stores replacing many fine buildings.   On that note, one of the finest buildings, home to Jenners, a world renowned department store, was sold to some Scandanavian developer.  Unfortunately an entirely "unexpected" fire has stopped the development in it's tracks.  Some 2 or more years on it remains a closed, boarded up eyesore.
So much for the capital of Scotland.
