Looking out at the rain again

I haven't yet run out of windows through which to photograph the rain, but it's probably only a matter of time. Today has been exceedingly wet, with long spells of heavy rain and just a few short lulls. I've not stepped outside, and the cats were very reluctant to leave their beds. It's been a quiet and somewhat useful day, the house is warm and we've eaten pumpkin soup for lunch (having cut up the Tardis yesterday) and very nice ratatouille made with our aubergines this evening. Now I have a bottle of my favourite Erdinger Dunkel, which went nicely with my Duolingo German practice, and tomorrow may be a dry day!
