Saturday rant......

.....this little bit of (long-standing/growing) urban guerrilla gardening in a street very near me is under threat.....despite looking more-than-nice, acting as a wildlife corridor, encouraging hedgehogs/bats/birds and bees, discouraging anti-social bahaviour, being used as a wildlife walk for the local school, winning local community gardening competitions etc etc, the local council is threatening to remove the existing planters (not sure at this point whether they intend to replace them either)......I've signed the petition......but sometimes I despair......
