of the various information “signs” at the Monument charting its history. We couldn’t get the parking payment machine to work but luckily a couple of friend were just leaving and they, being members of the National Trust, gave us their ticket which was untimed.

We went there as I gave Luce a good grooming and wanted to try to keep her relatively clean at least for today!
