PASSING THROUGH

My blip was done and dusted through my study window before I was even dressed this morning. I'd noticed a small flock of long-tailed tits flying through and landing briefly on the black elder tree in next-door's garden the last few days, and was just in the right place with the camera handy when they did it again this morning. They're such lovely little birds.

I had an eye test this morning, checking on the progress of my cataracts which fortunately are still a long way off needing to be dealt with. However, a new prescription is required at vast expense, especially as I've opted for frames which are a bit of a departure from the style I've had for many years. I hope I still like them when they're ready in a couple of weeks.
