Along the Singapore River

Started my day early by getting a taxi out to East Coast Park and completing the morning's parkrun. Even though it started at 7.30am, it was still hot and humid (after a brisk start, I slowed and walked a couple of times), finishing in a gentle 28.30.

Gus has headed off to Cambodia, so it was just Helen and me today. We had a leisurely day, starting with breakfast near our hotel, then walking to Fort Canning Park and then back towards our hotel, getting an ice cream on the way. Would like to have had a couple of beers at SGTaps but there was a problem with the island's card payment system, and we only had enough cash for a single beer.
