Super Club
Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,
We had a supper club outing today to Macau Kitchen tonight. The menu is Macanese and Malacca Portuguese and was amazing and it very quickly became one of our favourite supper club restaurants
It was also BYOB. Now, the problem with BYOB is that the right amount is always too much because you can’t run the risk of running out! We took three bottles of wine and I had to talk Kitty Cat out of the fourth! Kitty Cat had brought one of the bottles from home in a wine sleeve to make sure it stayed cold much to the amusement of the staff when we arrived!
The food was innovative and delicious, and the service was great. The staff had great banter (including the chef who came out to chat to every table) although the poor kitchen porter who was called through from the kitchen to be introduced to everyone* looked a bit like a rabbit caught in headlights during the round of applause!
Our waste not, want not approach meant that we were all merry. By then end of the night, we had told the staff how much we LOVED the food, the staff, the restaurant and the world. Charlie and I even hugged the owner as we left!
But as the owner said, life is all about people. Which is why I love Supper Club so much**.
C
*so we’d met the whole team!
**Yes I’ve sobered up!
