Saturday...

Up early to get packed & sort the cottage ready for off. A quick walk in a lovely crisp morning with little wind and some sunshine was good. Especially as the forecast for home was dire - and it is indeed dire right now. Down the A19 instead of the A1 was much more pleasant & the rain and gloom started around Leeds.

I was listening to Radio 2 on the way down & there was a lady talking about how she likes to do her holiday washing before she goes home. So do I - but I forgot...so the washing is on now.

A lovely week away despite all the wet and wild weather. That in itself is actually great, but just not for photos.
