Retaining

So many houses on very steep hillsides in this little corner of the universe, that the builders must be experts in constructing retaining walls!

Grey and gloomy again, but dry during the middle part of the day, so I took advantage of the wind and hung out a couple of loads of washing; it was almost dry when I took it in.

Walked into town and back this afternoon, mostly to stretch my legs but also to buy a washing-liquid refill. Then time for an hour working in the garden before darkness fell.

A relaxing evening in front of the TV with a glass or two of red. 'Have I Got News for You' never disappoints! It's just about the only programme we bother with on 'live' TV.
