A view of Crewe

Another day, another event. Went to Manchester today, meeting up with a couple of colleagues from the GIIG (formerly the Government & Industry Interoperability Group, which we plan to continue as a consultancy business) to speak at a conference organised by Crown Commercial Service. En route passed through Crewe (so familiar from when I lived in Cheshire and from 100s of football trips).

Had a couple of beers in a real ale bar before leaving Manchester Piccadilly. However, my train was delayed and combined with a previously delayed service so was horrendously crowded. Not a comfortable journey back to London.
