Grey Heron

Two Heron watching from a tenement roof again this morning. They flew down as I turned into the park, the little female (pictured) flew over from the dovecote. They all landed close to the entrance. I was able to feed them all, ho3wever when the adult male approached the middle male chased him off. I finished feeding the 3 at the gate then made my way round to the clearing where the male was waiting. I had taken a bit extra for him, in case the chick appeared again, as she didn't show the male got a good bit extra for once.
I Will need to take a bit extra tomorrow as I am not sure how many heron will appear on Monday after the inevitable pyrotechnics from the selfish revellers tomorrow night.
