Jazz

Rain and no woodchopping today but I can always find computerwork to do. This time, finding country songs for one of my students to practice, some Johnny Cash and Lynn Anderson and suchlike.
The evening was signed for a chamber jazz concert in one of the hotels in Kalmar. Fredrik Lindborg septet was performing music by Lars Gulin and Georg Riedel. All these names only makes sense for a Swede I think, they are all fairly well known here. The constellation with a string quartet and jazztrio sounded very interesting though, I liked it but then I also like the music by the two composers Lars Gulin and Georg Riedel.

Before the concert I tested Kalmars new and only Indian restaurant, opened only a month ago. The food is absolutely brilliant, they specialise on grilled courses made in these clay "ovens" that I've  only seen on Tv. I tried the buffé, because I was a little short on time before the concert but I will surely come back to try some of their other food.
