Hotel Avion

A rather beautiful hotel which is also a National Monument. The rooms were in style and comfortable too.

The last day of our pilgrimage which both Anna and I very much enjoyed. I'd recommend Brno, its tolerance, restaurants, the opera and ballet (I was rude not to mention them) and the white wine, not to forget the beer. I'm sure I will revisit before not too long. The last time I was there was in about 1994, before a lot of tasteful renovation. The first time was in 1977 but that's another tale.

Unfortunately, I seem to have picked up the popular lurgy on my travels and I need a week to get better.
