Autumn on Tyne Green
It was busy here this morning with various comings and goings.
Derek came and picked apples. They are lovely now but most have the odd hole from bird pecks. He also eased our front door which has been sticking.
We talked cameras. He has bought himself a Sony bridge camera and is enjoying getting to know it. His passion is photographing birds.
After lunch, I drove towards Hexham and Tyne Green. The paths here are flat and I was desperate to get out into the fresh air. I didn't walk far. There were a few walkers and no golfers.
The peace was disturbed because the Mart is quite near as the crow flies. I could hear the auctioneer clearing lots of sheep at great speed.
Horrible Horace was very sore afterwards. Hmm. Not long to wait.
