Crazy hair day

Today was crazy hair day at school.   It is one of B's favourite days of the year!  She was even happier when we arrived at school to see that her best friend has also opted for a crazy pipe cleaner hair style and apparently they played aliens at break and lunch. 

I should have started my new treatment today but unfortunately it has been delayed by a week.  One of the test results was not back in time which means they did not have the necessary paperwork to start the treatment.  I'm disappointed but it can't be helped.  

I had booked the day off today as leave so I decided to keep the day off and spent the day putting together a guinea pig cage. The girls have been desperate for a new pet since losing Pickle and as much as I would love to get a new dog, it wouldn't be right to make such a huge committee so we are getting a couple of guinea pigs.  I have kept them before and am fond of them as pets.  They are easy to look after and easy to handle.  The girls know we are getting them, but they don't know I am collecting them from the rescue tomorrow!  So standby for lots of guinea pig blips in the next few days...
