Mary McMurtrie

A pottering about sort of day and I nearly forgot to blip!!  I meant to blip this painting on Wednesday which was the anniversary of Mary passing away on 1st November 2003 aged 102 in Aberdeen..  The painting was given to me as a leaving present when I left my job many years ago  -  she painted it when she was 93 and indeed was still painting when she was 100.  A marvellous woman  -  an inspiration. I blipped her last year see HERE! with a fuller story.
