Rose in the sunshine

It was good to wake up to blue skies and sun this morning. Cloudy later but no rain yet. 

Had breakfast, did the ironing and spoke to my friend. I then collected books etc from a couple of people plus some of my own and delivered to another friend for a book fair. Came home, had coffee then walked to K's. We went on a long walk around the seawall and to boatyard before heading back. 1 bag of litter collected. Also saw large egret, heron, redshank and other birds. 
Came home, had lunch and looked at my 2024 calendars which had been delivered this morning, pleased with them. Picked this rose from the garden, still some buds too!
