Sunny Day Walk

Riley likes to walk through the tall grass as often as she can. It really seems to make her happy. She'll leave a nice open path just to experience the tickle of the grasses across her face. Makes me want to sneeze smile just watching at her.

It was a weird sort of photography day. I managed a few shots of an eagle over our lake. Snapped off a few of a red-winged black bird fishing of all things. And I even got a few images of a mating pair of damsel flies. Mixed results (some good, some hideous) but really nothing that I had a passion about. So, even though this could have been sharper... it was the one shot that made me smile and feel something today.

Otherwise, it was a good day and I was fairly productive (even with my camera around my neck). ;) The sun was out and it seems like everything has turned green or is blooming like mad. It was about 70(F) degrees and mildly breezy. With the wild wind of yesterday, I was fooled into thinking that the mosquitoes had died down. But tonight, I was proven very, very wrong. (I'm typing with one hand and scratching with the other...) Oui! Almost a great day. :)
