Not Abstract ...

... Thursday.

I don't often get to photograph the house finches ... even though we see them quite regularly.  So when this beautiful male landed on the birdbath while I was 'hiding' in the door of the sun room I simply had to post this one today.

The day was rather cool ... never reaching above 46° F.  We talked about going for a lunchtime walk but opted not to do that today. Instead I sat on the deck for a little while after lunch.  It's my nature therapy ... I really enjoy being outside with all the wildlife.  And the sunshine made it feel almost warm!  :-)
