A visit to The Old Stamp House

We did try to book into The Old Stamp House for our Anniversary in August, but there was an issue with the booking system, and we didn't manage to get there. Re booked for tonight as a Birthday celebration - OMG!

So many Michelin starred restaurants are stuffy and overly formal, here they treat their food very seriously - as an art form, but were slightly informal, very welcoming, simply perfect.

I didn't realise flavours could be concentrated as they manage - every course was simply perfect. Not surprised that it was recently voted the best restaurant in the UK, and similarly, a panel of "food critics" placed it third in the best restaurants in the world! Really wish you could smell the photos.

Thank you Ryan & Craig Blackburn, truly an experience, will be repeated again - already planning our next trip (but not until 2024)
